Cons of Cybersex!
What are the disadvantages of cybersex? You may have already guessed that there are many!
First of all, it simply, loudly and clearly isn't REAL. Don't you think that it's much more pleasant to get involved in the real action rather than have solitary sex and share your fantasies with your co-robots? The problem starts really flourishing when you decide that you don't want to have dinner at all, that you better have sex with a machine instead of another person because you enjoy your dinnerless situation more! The scholars state that if someone prefers to have sex with a machine rather than with a partner, that fits the clinical definition of a disorder. However, the subject is very complex because no one knows where to draw the line with cybersex.
The relative anonymity of cybersex encourages pedophiles and ephebophiles to look for underage cybersex partners which is also a great disadvantage of cybersex. Go and find out if your seventeen-year-old cyber partner isn't a 59-year-old pedophile instead!
Another reason why cybersex is harmful for you is the risk factor of Internet addiction. It suggests social isolation and loss of work productivity – highly undesired 'disorders' for anyone of us, don't you think?
Many scholars also state that cybersex causes high depression, they say that people who frequently visit (and actively get involved in) online sex, fetish and swinging sites have alarmingly high rates of depression, anxiety and stress. Another negative issue connected with virtual sex encourages myriad of debates among moralists on whether cybersex is a form of infidelity or not. It certainly doesn't involve physical contact, however – according to critics – Internet sex implies powerful emotions shared with a partner. It often causes marital stress, especially in situations when cybersex turns into Internet romance. In some cases cyber adultery even became the grounds for which couples divorced.
